Officially Bricked iPhone

Went throught the whole process and everything was sucessful, but the phone seemed frozen when I was done. I did a reboot and now the phone will show the apple logo and freeze there. It never loads to the homescreen.

dam, I just tried a restor and itunes will not even recognize it.


Is there anyting I can do, can I get itunes to recognize it somehow.
 
hold the home and power button for about 30 seconds to send it to "restore" mode then plug it into itunes
 
finally restored, thank god.

The only thing strange was that in the middle of the restore I had that small pin wheel spinning on the homescreen and after I was finished it never stopped.

glad you got it to work... no bricked phone for you.. now send me over my $100 tech support money :) lol jk anyway

the whole pin wheel thing?? is everything working fine now?
 
It's pretty difficult to "brick" your iphone(if even possible), even without knowing what you're doing :)

I agree. I have been "hacking" my iPhone from the very begining. And I have yet to hear of anyone actually bricking their phone in a software "hack".
 
I had a scare too when the last update came around. After plugging/unplugging and resetting it a bit, it started working again. I am happy with their resilience (so far).

I think i did something bad, i did the whole itunes restore and restore holding the buttons and it still does the silver apple and restart..
What can i do ?
