Offline Map App Suggestion

i will be traveling to italy in two weeks can any one recommend a good offline map for me? any suggestions would be great! thanks!

For offline maps turn-by-turn directions I'd always vote for Navigon

There are a couple of freebies based on the open source project OpenStreetMaps.

I used it once up in the boondocks of north GA, and worked fine.
