Anyone ever seen this type of (hardware?) failure?
If you're able to get the display to keep showing an image for long enough, the screen will start to show the correct image, and the vignette will fade away. The device seems perfectly functional once you can see things.
Annoyed at the prospect of replacing it, because it's just a Facetime device that sits on an arm to the side of my workstation.
