OGG to MP3 Conversion Question

I have downloaded and installed the plugin for Quicktime that allows the play and conversion of OGG's. http://xiph.org/quicktime/download.html

I have had success converting the OGG's and adding them to my iTunes library. But I have noticed one issue; when trying to edit information about each song (Title, Composer, Comments, etc.) the info appears to save, but once the song is played it reverts back to the original information.

Has anyone experienced this same issue, or know of a quick fix?

Make sure that the permissions on the file are set to both Read AND Write. It is highly probable that the newly generated file has only read permissions set.
