Getting video out of the .OGM container is tough, and I never fully figured it out.

THis is a thread I started months ago about it.

As you will read, I got it out of the .ogm container, and into .AVI, but the picture was all shaky, so I never really figured it out.

Let us know how you make out.

Using VLC I managed to get the audio and the video out into a single .mpeg file but the audio was too slow, so it lasted about 30 minutes but the video lasted 22 minutes...

So that's as far as I've gotten with it...

this is a multistep process, but it gives me great results with OGM files encoded with Xvid video + ogg audio.

-I use ogmtools to demux.(this gives me an avi and an ogg file)
-itunes to convert the ogg files to comparable mp3 files.(I have the Xiph quicktime codec installed)
-ffmpegX to mux the mp3 and the avi(from the demux)

this gives me an avi file which plays great in quicktime.
to burn to DVD, i use VisualHub.

:D

i was just wondering if anyone has a link to a working os x version of ogmtools. ive been searching and havent been able to find. thanks
