Far northern Maine.
I should never have done anything in my console, and that point has been driven home to me repeatedly this week.

I got rid of one "throttling respawn" problem, but apparently traded it in for more.

I'm still a little new to Macs, so I don't get it yet. Can someone point me to a fix which would take me back to what it was at some point in the recent past? And/or help learning to read this stuff?

PDF file attached.

I am on a 2008 iMac with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo on Version 10.9.1

The Console snippet you posted captures output across a reboot. There is nothing particularly alarming in it. The Console captures log messages, not just errors. There are a lot of mundane meaningless bits in there.

You should look at updating DropBox and Growl to their latest versions.
