One a white MacBook has anyone experience this odd situation?

Seems I can power on the machine but non of the keyboard's keys are functioning. When I press "power" I can't even power off the machine without having an external mouse connected.

Zap PRAM and SMC before considering the onboard keyboard disconnected.

On a lighter note, you have an external keyboard right?

External bluethooth keyboard works... i'm on it now. Turn it off.. and erm... nothing. >< Even the trackpad ain't working. Yet, everything was fine lastnight.

Is it possible the drivers have deleted themselves? ive had this with Windows, but never heard of it with Mac's.

Also the keyboard and trackpad ribbon could have come loose from the logicboard.

Check the About this Mac (Under the Apple Menu, select About This Mac and then select More Info) to see if the keyboard and trackpad are even detected, and if not, then the ribbon has most likely come loose.
