(Forgive the caps lock on some of this, but it needed to be done.)

Alright, the moment I feared finally happened this New Years Eve. We were running a little late, and I had trouble parallell parking my car in the snow. Anyways, I asked my friend to park the car for me since he's had a lot more experience and as soon as he finished parking the car, I asked him if he saw my iPhone. We looked in the car and didn't find it, and I checked all my pockets and it wasn't in there as well. After getting panicky (if that's a word) I happened to look down in a pile of snow...and there it was...my iPhone sitting in SNOW!

After quickly grabbing the thing off the ground and turning the thing off AS FAST as possible, I feared the worst due to the fact that there was water on a lot of the phone and by the dock connector. NOT a good sign. I've dropped the phone once, but snow and water...I was sure the iPhone was doomed. My friends said to leave the phone off for a half hour which I did, and I thorougly dried the thing off and let it sit for that amount of time. I've heard people say to let the thing sit for a day if it gets water in/on it, but I was too impatient and only let it sit for 30 minutes.

Anyways, I turned it on and low and behold, it turned on and the screen and camera still worked fine. I then tested out a call and the speakerphone, and once again, it worked.

So yes, even after some snow, the phone works perfect after a drop on concrete, and water. It's been two days after now, and it works just as good as before. Amazing.:)

Yeah next time leave it for a day. You could have easily fried your phone.

that is scary, did u drop it in snow or water sorry didnt get it clear.

if its snow it should be fine, dont ask why but i threw my old iphone in snow about 4 times and buried itabout 3 times it still worked didnt let it dry and pluged itin etc everything worked.

Yea, as soon as I saw snow, I went, "oh no..." Glad it's running good though, you're a lucky one. :)
