Does anybody still use Netscape? It's just Firefox with a lot of added Netscape/AOL ads

I jumped from Netscape 4 to IE6 in 2001, and at the time I felt like I was the last Netscape user on the planet.

well, im not going to totally switch, but im sure i will install one.

the last useful thing netscape (8) had was the built-in use of IE's engine on Windows. firefox does this now thru ieTab, so once again netscape has nothing to offer, except suckyness(tm)

hmph - i thought Netscape was dead. I don't even use Firefox, so i doubt i'd use this, but who knows..

Well, you had to love version 1.0.... IIRC the first consumer webbrowser...?

until version 4.0, NS was good. after that, I jumped to Mozilla, never continuously used IE.

BTW, u can't assume the guy was using internet at the time of NS 1.0

I'm using Netscape 8.1 at school right now ONLY because I refuse to use IE6 while other computers have IE7. It's really, really slow to load up but it's somewhat snappier after it gets going.

Awesome! Netscape! Now I can not use it ever, like I never used it on PC. Yay!

in that case, why not just go for firefox, NS 8.1 is based on firefox, with extra junks.
