iPod touch Oh yeah this sucks

So I just got my new 2g 8gb touch in the mail, and I bought bodyguardz with it. Now it's just sitting on my desk slowly drying.... Mocking me. I have a broken nano, so I didn't have an mp3 player for months, and now it's right there just watching me.... Hate the 24 hour drying process.

So, do you guys think that the 3g touch will come out this september? I heard some rumors that came from the college deal.

I think that you should just wait the 24 hours. Unless you want the orange peel look.

Obviously I'll wait the 24 hours (I paid like 20 bucks for the bodyguardz) but waiting to use my new touch is killing me :[
