Ok i effed something up so im back to square one and need help pwning

well i tried to pwn my itouch and effed it up so im going to start from square one again and hopefully someone will help me out alot..
Itouch info:
32gig
software version:1.15
itunes version is most updated version available.

Ok first off which ipod back up file do i need?

Which winpwn program version do i use for the itouch and is there a link?

I have the DIY link to do it but somehow when i would restart itunes and load the mod program file it would say unknown error (5)

please someone help me out i really want to do this
 
I meant Pwning 2.0 as pwning the 2.0 firmware ... not the software to pwn the idevice.
Go to http://winpwn.com/index.php/Main_Page to download winpwn 2.5 if you are running windows... if not check http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ for pwnagetool and quickpwn (Pwnagetool for mac ... Quickpwn for mac + PC).

I'd be careful with winpwn though ... even the winpwn developer said "Use at your own risk".
If you need to see a guide on how to do either of these methods ... check youtube. A guide for winpwn 2.5 is not out yet... but just wait... soon there will be a lot of them.

1. If you want to jailbreak 2.0+ you need to upgrade to 2.0. So you need the 2.0 restore ipsw. (PM me for teh link)
2. Check out this great guide if you still don't understand on how to pwn. (It's step by step ... and its on his 2nd post) : https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/550964/

(Follow the guide... and it should be right... but if you have problems... in Spinstorms next posts there is FAQ)

ok im completely lost lets see where do i download the ipsw file that i need?

where do i download the correct winpwn file that i need?
 
dood ok i press the pwr button and the home button hold for 10 then let go of the power for ten then hold the home for 10 itunes rings like it should but my touch will not stay black screened i keep getting the itune logo and cord showing on my screen
 
The process has to be perfect. Try this to help you out :

DFU MODE

Turn off your phone/ipod by holding power, sliding to power off, and waiting for it to power off. Do not take the phone off the pc connection! If you do, you must start over.

a) Wait 5 seconds.
b) Hold the power button for 5 seconds.
c) Press the home and power buttons for 10 seconds.
d) Let go off the power button and keep holding the home button for up to 30 seconds.

Itunes will recognize your ipod ... but the screen will still be back.
 
dood that didnt work either it still shows the itunes and cable picture... ****
 
could you send me the custom file?
I cant get it to boot on itunes without bring up that picture on the touch.
