It seems most UK orders have a ship date a week earlier.

Odd.
No joke when was the last time UK got anything before the states? Somethings fishy. Makes me think we can expect US orders to ship around the 7th as well.

It's probably because the UK is closer to Southern China than California is.......:D :D :D

You're right, in that case Apple better ship to the States on the 4th because it is gonna take an extra couple days :D

I can't wait to hear feedback from the first buyers of the machine! Finger's crossed, I'll be picking up mine in March. It's all too much to bear at the mo', and there's a hell of a lot of stuff I need to sell off on eBay to make the payment!

Still, I hope you all get your machines incredibly quickly, and then tell me all about it!

People have reported that Apple's shipping STARTS on February 7th.

You can check the shipping dates on Apple's web site.
Take that number and subtract a couple days (Apple tends to be very conservative with shipping dates).

Even if it doesn't ship before the 15, I hope I can get it by the 17. With the two-day shipping and the time it took to get my games I ordered with 2-day shipping, I see no reason why it cant be delivered before that horribly long weekend. Granted the games shipped from California, my wonderful new MacBook ships from China.

Too bad I missed getting it for my birthday:( . It was yesterday. I can't wait! I've been checking the order status page multiple times a day to see if maybe they updated the ship date now that they started building them.

I can't wait for the screen increase in resolution alone....going from 1024x768 to 1440 x 900 will be a nice boost for me.

is it here yet?

You lot don't know what sad is... sad is when you go to bed with your loving wife and your daughter asleep in the next room, but one of the lasts thoughts that passes through your sorry little mind is... one day over, so one day closer to my MBP.

I am working overtime at the mo which is lucky as it distracts me and pays for the MBP...

My real impatience is caused by the fact that I have a new digital SLR and can't really be bothered to use it because my PB is soooooooo slooooooow in iPhoto.

So it's February, and apple says the Macbook Pro ships "In February"

So it's February, and apple says it ships "in February".

What's going on? Does this mean it ships today, the 31st? C'mon apple, it's time to update and reveal when the Godam^ things actually ship, am I right?

Obviously, from reading this forum, they are shipping like the 7th, and the 15th, but shouldn't they change it to something on the order of "within 1-2 weeks", or shouldin't they just flat out say "March"?

c'mon , at least update it now, the fact that they haven't makes the delivery of my MBP seem even more distant...

Well today isn't the 31st, its the first. Of February. So yes, they will be shipping in february. If you buy one they tell you when it'll be coming to you. I got one in mid january and it will be delivered on the 12th.

Please see the other threads on this! Those like me who ordered on the second of release have shipping of the 7th. Those who order today get a shipping date of the end of the month.

I saw the other threads, as I mentioned. I'm only pointing out the significance of apple's lack of update.
