As we now have several day delays for iPhone replenishment at most ATT and Apple stores, I think we can safely assume that we've blown through the initial first batch of the phones.

I tried to purchase one about 4 times here in Las Vegas but just couldn't bring myself to waste 4+ hours of my time to give somebody my money. That plus the fact that several people are reporting sub-par construction with their iPhones, I have decided to wait this one out for the following:

1. There to be no lines
2. Jobs to crack some skulls and correct the poor construction
3. (maybe) A 32gb version (any guesses on when this may come?)
4. To see if there will be some change after a couple months like the price drop with the original iPhone

Anyone else had it with the lines and willing to wait?

I just want my stores to have the thing in stock.

The UTC Apple Store in San Diego was reporting zero stock on the 16GB models last night. Today at 1:00 PM, they had all three models plus a four hour line.

If the staff is being honest (see no reason not to be) then they received a shipment.
