Yeah I use a damp paper towel on both my iMac and my iBook LCD screens.DO NOT use Windex, or rubbing alcohol!!!!!! It will eat at the protective coating on the screen!

iKlear is also a good choice. Thats sold at the Apple Online Store for $25.

Oh...And NO question is a stupid question! :D

DO NOT - I REPEAT -DDOOOOO NOOOOTTTTT use paper towels. Paper towels have texture for a reason - to pick up grease. This makes sense for use on counters, hands, whatever. On a fragile PB screeen - this texture can leave small abrasions - DO NOT USE PAPER TOWELS - i can't stress this enough. sure, it may look alright for awhile but after prolonged usage your screen will start to get cloudy.

Personally, I second powermac666's suggestion f the radtech cloth - the cloth + a bit of water - the screen looks brand spanin new. I even use it on my glasses all the time - something I would never do with a paper towel.

Originally I bought the iKlear Apple Polish - works great - only on a totally cold screen tough - otherwise it streaks. Buy a radtech screensaverz - you won't be sorry.

if you are looking for a solution that will last you awhile, I definitely recommend the Screensaverz as were previously mentioned. Sure, other manufacturers may offer products with cleaning solutions etc., but the Screensaverz work amazingly well with just water and the optex material that's used is great for the screen. Plus, the black "X" logo one looks sweet as hell!
