I'm going to US tomorrow so I want buy online the macbookpro today so I anticipate the shipping day.

I'm a gamer.... so I know gaming is better on windows bla bla bla....

my question is.

in the 15'' the 2.3 is way more powerful than the 2.2?????

it has sense to go with the 2.3 instead the 2.2?

or the 0.1 for such thet price has no sense....

The extra 100MHz will not make much difference for that amount of money, just make sure to get the one with the "AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB GDDR5".

The two current 15" MBP models have 2.0 and 2.2 Ghz CPUs, so your numbers are a bit off.

The previous reply is correct; the biggest differentiator is the GPU.

Not really, as one can upgrade the 2.2GHz model to 2.3GHz.

I made the order but I haven't got any mail of confirmation.
Am I wrong or the confirmation mail usually is automatic?

I got the sms from VISA of the payment to apple but no response from them.

In the order status it says just NOT SHIPPED and nothing else....

should I be worried?

It can take anywhere from an hour to a couple days for the confirmation e-mail.

BTO systems usually stay in the "Not shipped" status for a couple days before they become packaged and then shipped shortly thereafter.

You're experiencing everything perfectly normally

phew..... I was really worried.....
It's a 2800 dollar order.... a lot of money.... and I'm even saving for this: http://tinyurl.com/3qrqcx4

BTW tomorrow I'll be in the US and if I don't get any mail from Apple I will try to give em a call.

I'm really excited to get my hands on the new machine.... I don't know if restore my old configuration with time machine (I'm worried to carry few problems from the old machine) or to just bring music and photos (don't know why)....

2.2Ghz to the 2.3Ghz is a bit more then re 100Mhz CPU boost. It also increases the chache from 6mb to 8mb. Not Earth shattering but the price apple charges is fair, it is almost the same as the price difference between the two CPUs.
