Hi,

I formatted an external USB drive on a Windows 7 machine with exFAT(default settings) because I heard there can be problems formatting exFAT on OsX 10.6.6.

I will need this 256GB backup drive to offload RAW + JPG picture images from the Macbook Pro 13(2010) and then onto NTFS-formatted tertiary(1TB, 1.5TB, and 2Terabyte) drives.

Is this possible? Will there be any problems?

Can I use Carbon Copy Cloner to save backups of the Macbook Pro to the exFAT drive? Or is it better to save backups to a HFS+ journaled drive.

Will Winclone or SuperDuper be affected if they backup to a exFAT drive?

Can there be any file transfer problems(CRC erros) transferring from exFAT drive to NTFS drives?
Thanks.
