I need to upgrade the memory on my iMac Core Duo 20-inch. Is it okay to mix memories with identical specs (1G, DDR2 667, etc.) from different manufacturers? Or is it optimal to use identical pairs?

Ok to mix memories from diff manufacturers?

You can mix memory from different manufactorers and it will still work. Although if you match memory you can gain a slight performance boost from it.
