AMD just released new drivers for the graphics cards in the new iMacs (I've got the 27" fully loaded). After downloading the update I noticed it installed the Catalyst Control Center and as I was playing around in there I found the AMD Overdrive page. Is it safe on iMac to turn this on and not enable manual fan control? I've never overclocked a computer (this is my first Windows/PC experience in many years) and I don't want to mess anything up. It won't let me manually adjust fan speed, and I'm scared to turn Overdrive on and leave the fan on auto since it's an iMac and I don't know if Windows has that much control over the Mac hardware. It already gets way hotter running Windows than OSX. Thanks for any help.

I prefer using Apple's drivers for both OSX and Win7 if bootcamping. Maybe it's a loss of a few FPS, but I once messed with drivers on both OS and things seemed to become unstable.
