Ok, I have an enclosure for my MB Pro Superdrive because I replaced the Superdrive with another hard drive.

Ok, so I have this enclosure with the Superdrive and to use it, I plug it into the MB Pro USB port directly (meaning I don't use a USB hub because not enough power).

I am wondering that after empowering the USB via ATVFlash on my new ATV, will I be able to plug in my Superdrive via USB and watch my DVDs same as I do on my MB Pro? Does the ATV has a DVD player?

Thanks for any help.

It is possible according to this thread: http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=3624

In that thread someone mentions they needed to use a separate power supply for the external drive since the USB port on the AppleTV didn't provide enough, and they all recommended using NitoTV for playing DVD's.
