Ok, why does iTunes keep opening itself?

This is so annoying. I close itunes, it opens again on its own. I close it, it opens again, etc etc..

You must have launch iTunes upon connecting the phone checked off. Are you syncing via wifi? You can go that but just need to uncheck launch iTunes when connected.

Essentially your phone hits the wifi network, pings your pc and your iTunes in turn says okay, I'll launch.
