I’ve used Loopy cases for YEARS, and I absolutely love them. I can get great reach on my phones because the loop allows me to reach without dropping or having to worry about my grip.

That said, I LOVE the idea of the Apple leather case with the attached wallet - I just love that whole concept.

I need to know what you love about it!

I just started using the Apple leather case and MagSafe wallet with a 14 PM. I like the feel so far. The wallet feels secure.
I got the wallet for everyday use but more specifically when flying and going through security. I’ll just keep my ID and bank card in it and just put the phone and attached wallet in the bowl to be scanned. I like how I’m able to keep those 2 things together phone and ID when flying.

I think it’s a great combo.

I love the fact there is a tracking device in the wallet.
It doesn't track as such, it remembers the last known location of removal. If someone finds it they can see your contact information to contact you if they wish. But if it fell off and someone has away with it you can't track it's location.

I have the older Apple Wallet and purchased the newer Find my Wallet yesterday. Have not take it out of box yet. I can’t figure out if Find my will really be useful for me. I sometimes keep the wallet attached to my phone, but probably 70% of the time do not. Wish they could have an AirTag feature built in instead.

This whole thread seems pretty loopy to me. :p

On a serious note, I like the Apple leather case for its fit feel when on the phone. I also like the MagSafe wallet. I like not having to carry a full wallet around all the time, as well as having "Find My" integration should the wallet become unattached from the case.

Something to consider is that, currently, the Find My wallet detached notification goes to the phone only, and not the Apple Watch.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro (with Apple Magsafe case and Apple Magsafe wallet) and Apple Watch S7, both on the most recent non-beta versions, that were both setup as new and noticed that I wasn’t getting the notification, until I noticed it was showing up on the phone. I tried to figure out what setting was causing this and ended up searching online where I found many results about this behavior since the updated Find My version of the wallet came out last year, without finding a single reported solution.

Another note is that you can’t setup location-based exceptions for the detached notification, such as home. This is an option for a lot of other Find My devices but not the Wallet, currently.

Otherwise seems like a great product but strange oversights since I would imagine a lot of Apple engineers are using the Magsafe Wallet.

As much as I love Loopy cases, I have to have a Mag Wallet with me now. I don't take my wallet to work with me anymore since someone I know had their wallet stolen there and I feel more comfortable shopping with a smaller purse. I stick my wallet on any case that is MagSafe compatible and I love that fact that the newer wallets tell you when they have been removed from your phone.
