iPod touch Okay... unhappy people. What do you all want from apple?

Here are the list of complains I see on the thread.

1. Price =Basic model starts at 229 dollars instead of 199 dollars. It's a difference in 30 dollars, OMG.
2. Retina display, but no IPS. Damn..
3. Camera shoots HD video, but it takes crapy pictures according to all of you whiners. Jesus... Zune HD doesn't have any camera.
4. 8GB Model is the base model. Get 32 GB then, it's only 70 dollars more.
5. No vibration for iPod touch. OMG! Get an iPhone 4 or wait for your Verizon/T-mobile iPhone that will come in the future.
6. Only 256 MB RAM compare to 512 MB ram on iPhone 4.

What do you all want from apple? You all want apple to fix all of these hardware limitations, but keep at the same price? Not happening. Show them more money, then apple might consider it on next hardware update.
If you are not willing to spend more money, then what do you all want?
 
They want whatever they want, and if Apple doesn't deliver, it's a fail.

The new Touch looks great to me.
 
People will never stop crying. Too bad that apple will always leave an improvement.

1. They want to put those features one by one every year.
2. To cut the costs and make more profits.

Find me an mp3 player that costs 229 dollars and it has 1GHZ processor, Retina display with 2 cameras.

No, Droid X and Samsung Galaxys are not mp3 players. They are phones.
 
-video recording quality should be a little better (& it should look actually look hd quality on youtube instead of looking 420p)

-should have at least a 3mp cam


those the only things i have to complain about..everything else is good

I don't understand what you mean by cam. Camcorder? It does have camcorder. Unless I am missing something. Anyway, I am sure apple will put better camera sensor for all of us as long as we are willing to break 400 dollars price point on iPod touch. No? Then wait for 1-2 years for more updates. No? Then get an iPhone 4. No? Hate AT&T? Well, I heard HTC Evos are back in stock at your local store. Go buy that.

It's pretty clear what people want: They want the iPhonein every single element without the phone part, and probably the design too. Also they want to pay less than half the iPhone price for it. i.e. $300 for the 32GB, $200 for 8GB, $250 for 16GB, etc. For a high margin-seeking company like Apple, that's pretty unlikely to happen though.
 
I want Apple to supply Amazon with iPod Touches quicker so I can get mine soon.
 
128 gb capacity, 1080p video recording, and better still photo resolution are the only hardware things i would really find useful.
 
I wouldn't say I am unhappy but a little bit disappointed. I am very happy with my 2nd gen touch so I am expecting to be equally impressed with this 4th gen iPod touch.

Display- I am sure it will look great.

Price- I think the price is fair.

Camera- Didn't expect the same as iPhone but 0.7mp is quite small. 3mp would of been adequate.

RAM- Not a big deal as long as everything runs smoothly. Time will tell on this one.

GPS- Really wish this was built in. Seems like it could have been a reasonable addition and the amount of GPS apps they could have sold would of been huge. Seems like a business mistake to me.

I mean that people what the iPod touch to be the EXACTLY like the iPhone 4. they don't understand business. tech geeks have this nasty habit of forgetting that a company owes them nothing.

GPS could have been the most reasonable addition to the iPod touch. Unlike the expensive things people are asking for, GPS chip is pretty cheap.
 
Well if u don't like the new iPod Touch, stick with the old one which has LESS of the features found in the new one. Some people belittle themselves with unnecessary complaints.
 
I agree with you. Some people want everything and just don't want to pay for it. It doesn't happen.

I like the new touch. Its okay if it has a crappy camera...I have a dslr for that.

Haters will never stop...
