I have the old Airport Express with AirTunes right now as my only means of wifi and I was really considering adding the Time Capsule, but on Apple.com it says AirPort Express can extend the range only of an AirPort Extreme or AirPort Express wireless network. So does this mean it wont recognize the new Time Capsule?

The Time Capsule has the option of creating a wireless network in either pure n mode or n with compatibility mode for b/g devices.

Your Airport Express will extend the wireless network that the Time Capsule creates.

I have a Time Capsule operating as the hub for my wireless network and both a Express G and Express N acting as range extenders.

In essence the Time Capsule is an Airport Extreme with built in hard drive.

Hope that helps.

That is exactly what I was looking for and hoping. Thanks! :D

TC-Airport Express wireless bridge extensions

Dear andimaciphone:

I have TC and new n Airport Express. How do you set up Airport Express and TC to work together? I have spent hours on this.
Right now:
TC is in 'create wireless network mode' including add wireless clients. Internet connection: share single IP address, not bridge mode. WPA password set. Channel is same
AExpress: 'extend wireless network mode'.

Please advise. Thanks so much!

Here are some screen shots
