Hello all,
I just yesterday ordered a new 5K iMac to replace my late 2009 27 inch. This morning I realized that I had bought apple care with my old iMac, but never registered it (it was not auto-enroll). Does anyone know if this apple care could be registered towards my new mac once it gets here, or is it too late? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Possibly. iMac AppleCare is not specific to particular years or models.

There's only one way to find out. Try to register it on the new riMac and see if it works. :)

Wouldn't hurt to try, there is still a good chance of it working.
