Ok so I was thinking of trying to connect my Macbook Pro (Mid 2010) to an old Apple ACD LCD HD Cinema Display (23-inch) and I know I will need adapters, I thought these two would work (this one) and (this one)
My only question is if it will work, and if not how would I do so..

My Macbook Pro uses Mini Displayport just btw..

Thanks.

That won't work. The DVI to ACD adapter you linked is for a ACD video port and a DVI monitor.

You'll need the Apple ACD to DVI converter, which actually supplies power to the ACD. They'd sell for around $100 on ebay. edit-as Intell pointed out.

thanks, looks like i'm better off just buying a new monitor.
