I was converting movies for my iPod from DVD, and Handbrake made them .m4v files, no problem.
Before I import them into iTunes, I like to check them - but .m4v files default to iTunes, so I used open with.
When I clicked open with, a whole list of apps appeared including older versions. ie. default iTunes 7.3.2 or whatever version is most recent, and then lower on the list was version 7.1.2.
The same thing was there for a number of apps including quicktime and vlc. I dont have any mounted drives, no trace of the older apps anywhere, and software update doesn't pick up the older versions.
Any ideas?
