I currently have a laptop with a T7500 core 2 duo at 2.2ghz. I was really hoping the high end 13" would be updated with an i5 processor that I could upgrade to. How much faster is the new 2.4ghz core 2 duo in the 13" MBP than what I currently have?
thanks

Which use?
I actually believe if you do things that taxes the graphics the 2.2Ghz (if it's a Macbook Pro, and not some other computer) the old one will be slightly faster.

Otherwise the 2.4GHz is faster, the chipset and RAM is also faster on the new one.

I wouldn't count on huge performance gains, but a slight upgrade.
