Is it normal for old calendar entries to appear (greyed) in calendar search even though years old and deleted? I noticed that most of these were entries on repeat so i guess when the original was deleted some recurring ones weren't. Is there anyway to clear the history?

Can select and delete (context menu and or delete key) them from the search window. You will not get any indication/notification that they were deleted, but will be. Quit Calendar, re-invoke, search will now not return those ghost entries.

I have tried deleting alot of them but they are too many to delete one by one. There is no option to select all.

Also i have noticed if i turn Sync in settings to 2 weeks back these wont appear but when i turn it back to sync all events they re appear.
