Hey can someone who has used the previous versions of Maccromedia Dreamweaver tell me which one is the easiest to start for a newbie? Which is the one with the most basic features and easiest interface?

The newest one. Having an earlier version won't do you much good, especially since the newest version if better optimized and has many neat interface enhancements.

strangely enough, ive always found GoLive better, so you could look that one up too.
