So I have a 1.25GHZ eMac, it's gettin' a bit slow, so I'm upgrading to a new iMac 20 inch, 2 GB.
I was wondering if I could transfer the 256MB of memory from my eMac over to my new iMac?!

Since I only really need one computer, this would be ideal.

If not, how do you think I should converse between the two machines?

Thanks!:)

Sadly not, because you'll find the type of RAM in your old eMac is out of date and not compatible with newer machines. I'm thinking your old eMac probably uses PC-2700 DDR RAM whereas the new iMacs have PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM in them. ;)

Click on over to OWC and check out the memory prices... you can get brand new memory for your new machine. Good luck...
