Old email address

I cannot get rid of old email address on the App Store. It's brings up an old email address which is no longer available, I have tried resetting password and new email address but it still comes up with old address, I cannot update apps because of this. Am I going mad? I don't know what else to do, Hoping some one can help me.

I have no other access to the Internet apart from the iPad.
