Successfully upgraded from Sequoia to Tahoe (couldn't be bothered with a full clean install) - are there any dormant or 'old' Sequoia backup files that are stored in case of a roll back?
I want to delete them in order to keep my system relatively 'clean'!

This isn't really a thing anymore, since macOS is sealed, all installs will be identical. You can check /Users/Shared/Relocated Items for things macOS thinks are incompatible with the current OS.

You could dig around /Library, but you'd have to know what's what. Most of the time this isn't necessary unless you are having a specific problem.
