Hi, I'm trying to use Garageband '11 (6.0.5), which is an old version of garageband.
I have downloaded the application from Google Drive following a youtube tutorial.
The program itself has a big cross through it (to show it can't run), and when I try and open it, it says 'Garageband 6 is not supported on this verison of macOS'.
I am using Big Sur, on a mac mini M1 2020.
I would like to know:
- is there a way I can trick the program into running, e.g changing the version info, or something along those lines?
- is there any software for mac that can run legacy apps?
- are there any virtual machines that will run a 2010 version of macOS on an M1 chip, with audio and function fully?
- if it came to dual booting Big Sur with a 2010ish verison of mac OS, what would be the best way to go about that?
- is there any other way you may know, that could allow me to run this app on my mac mini M1 2020?
