Hey all! I recently read a thread about the timeless glossy vs matte display, but I have been wondering about a different topic: old glossy vs new glossy. I currently have a 1st generation MacBook which has served me well and will continue to serve me as a backup/media player/server/random other tasks computer, but I'm going to be buying a new MacBook Pro pretty soon. I'm just wondering if there is a big difference between the glossy screen on my MacBook and the glossy screen on the MacBook Pros. It seems like they might be a little bit more reflective now than they used to be, and I may opt for the matte screen with the higher resolution. Anyone here owned both and able to weigh in? Thanks!

If I recall correctly, there has been little to no change in the MacBook Pro displays for the past few years.
