I have a macbook from 2009 that does not work anymore. I removed the HDD and linked to my new macbook pro (using the my seagate backup plus usb cable) to see if I could get the old data. At first I was able to see the data in the HDD but after few minutes the disk dismount itself (message: the disk was not expelled correctly) and does not work anymore. It also changed name in disk1s2.

Where are my data? How can I get them? Should I repair the disk?

Thanks
Pietro
