Old Icon/New Icon Toggle please

Someone needs to petition Apple to give users the option to toggle between the old and new icons.

I like everything we saw today, mostly, except for the look of the icons.

Barbie Phone. Barbie Phone. Barbie Phone.

Being that this is the one object I look at probably more than anything else, I hope it will continue to be something I like to look at.

You'll like the new icons when you're holding the phone in your hand and seeing the design as a whole. The old-fashioned icons with their gloss and shiny swirls and fake depth will look gaudy and stupid if they're paired with Ive's new look. Just wait and see.

Save it to your photos on your iPhone and open it up. It almost hurts my eyes.

I doesn't help that the screen shot is 240424 pixels...of course thats going to make your screen look a little rough.

They should have showed ios 7 with a darker background, the icons are too bright.

Agreed, but look at that Game Center icon. Colored bubbles? That looks like a bad free app that would be full of bugs and pop-up ads.

The games, photos and Safari icons: they are not intuitive. The designs give no hints to the function.

too bad. maybe apple will fix them later. How do I explain to my father that bubbles means games, sort of the old NBC bird is photos and the icon of a compass is the web browser?

You can't get around it. Those icons look hideous. I don't really care for the bright colors in the music app and iTunes app either.

No toggle, to get the old look, you have to jailbreak.
