hello everyone and merry launch weekend.
i decided to experience leopard by buying a new computer, this amazing 24 inch iMac. naturally, the drop in cpu cd came with it.
i installed leopard with not a single problem, BUT THEN...
i noticed something very peculiar while laughing giddily like a small child over the cover flow in finder. when i was scrolling across the icons in the apps folder, something seemed not very right with a few select icons. this seemed to affect only iLife 08 apps, then i realized what had happened.
somehow, iLifes icons didnt get updated to the higher resolution icons that the rest of leopard uses.
WHATS UP WITH THAT!!! ???
does this maybe have something to do with the fact that my computer had already come with iLife 08 on it? did it trick itself into thinking that it didn't need to reinstall those icons? or does leopard not ship with those updated icons?
anyone else have this problem/know when a fix will come?
