Old iMac (2010) Apple Mouse on Newer iMac (2015)

I'm trying to get my older iMac mid-2010 wireless Apple mouse to work on a slightly newer iMac late-2015 but it doesn't seem to automatically recognise it. Do I need to do something to allow the iMac late-2015 to recognise it?

I'm currently just using a cheap wireless mouse + USB dongle but I would like to use my old Apple mouse.
