Hi,
I have an older iMac core 2 Duo with only 1 gb ram. Does another here have Lion installed in something similar and does it work okay. This will only be used for lite work, web browsing, ical, iTunes. No high powered gaming or apps.

Thanks.
John

You need at least 2GB of ram for Lion to work... ram is cheap, worth the money even if you have to buy 2 x 1GBs (if you have 2 x 512MB now...)

The requirement is 2GB RAM. As I recommended to all forum users, you should just max out the RAM on your Mac so you never have to worry about buying more RAM again.

Based on what I've read here and else where, 2gb can get Lion installed, 4 and up, will provide decent performance.
