Apologies if a common issue is listed somewhere else, but I couldn't find a relevant thread.
Problem:
-Ipad mini that I haven't used in over a year
-Trying to clear the iPad to factory settings to setup as a new iPad so I can install apps for home control without having any other content on iPad (personal preference)
-email address associated with iCloud is no longer in use and is no longer in existence (was an old old work email address that doesn't exist anymore)
-ipad is trying to get me to put the password in for the nonexistent email address in order to clear iPad.
any help would be appreciated
