Hi

Yesterday I signed out of iCloud, iMessage etc and erased all content and settings on my iPad mini. It has now gone to a new owner.

However, my new iPad Air 2 is still showing tabs open on the mini (last tabs before it was wiped)

Does it just take a while to update? I have checked my devices on Apple ID website and mini is no longer present.

I'm also soon selling my MacBook Pro and wonder if the same will happen or how to avoid?

It could be that it'll take a while to update, but there's another thing to try. You deleted it from the AppleID website, but what about iCloud.com? In theory the two should be synchronized, but it may be worth checking. Log in at iCloud.com and then go to Settings. You'll see all of your registered devices; if your iPad mini is still listed, click it, and there appears to be a few buttons you can press to remove it from the list. I don't know which is the best to use, or if they all do the same thing; it seems this screen has been updated since the last time I sold an iOS device and removed it from my account.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank, just gave it a try but mini has vanished from there too

I guess it will fix itself. I've never found safari iCloud tabs that reliable anyhow
