Recently bought an iPhone 3G off of Ebay knowing it had some aerial issues.

Replaced the dock connector hoping it would fix them (isn't the aerial on the 3G in the dock connector? unfortunately although the phone does work, I get a really low signal (hardly useable really).

I did notice that the connector to the top left of the phone (think it was connector labeled 6) is damaged and doesn't connect anymore, isn't this just the wifi aerial?

Any ideas on what to look at next would be greatly appreciated!

Phone is jailbroken, but pretty sure this is a hardware issue as it does work (it's a 3G on 3.1.2 jailbroken with blackrain and used cydia to install ultrasn0w).
