iPod touch Old iPod Touch

I have an old IPod Touch 32gb that is collecting dust in my drawer. I'd like to repurpose it, as selling it is quite a big hassle and I'm not bothered to go through the process. What else can I use it for?

Use it in a dock / car to play your favorite music, or use it as an alarm clock

Capacity doesn't matter as much as which generation. Older than 3rd gen, and you're really limited. About all I use my 2nd gen for is a remote to control my AppleTV.
