Old LG 5K - any way to connect a PC?

I am being offered a 2nd hand LG 5K monitor but I can’t work out if I can ever plug a PC into it?

I am currently using a thunderbolt dock with my MBP and a BenQ 32” 4K monitor, which is fine but the 5K would be an even nicer picture.

I also use my current monitor for PC gaming sometimes and wouldn’t really want to lose that.

Yes but only at 4k and no monitor controls. Not sure if any driver exists to allow you to control brightness or not.

You can use it on PC, but you do need a thunderbolt card that support 2x DP 1.2 loop.

Gigabyte have several TB3 AIC card that can do that.

There is driver that you can use it to adjust the display brightness.

PS: I am currently using the setup
