Old Mac As 2nd Screen for older Mac

I would like to use my eMac as a 2nd screen for my G4 (dual 450 is way faster), are ther any apps that can do this?

You can try setting up screen sharing if the OS supports it. You cannot physically connect the two and turn the eMac into a monitor however.

There aren't any apps that are going to be as smooth as an actual external monitor.

Anyone knows how to do this in Tiger? Im currently using teleport to use both at once, but its not the same as 2 screens, more like 2 computers.

Screen Recycler does what you want BUT I am not at all sure it works on such old stuff. You could cobble together VNC, but it only mirrors your other desktop, and I assume you want an extended desktop.
