So on Thursday the 17th i ordered 2 older style Macbook Airs from Apple.com. I was just sat here thinking, where are my Macbooks they are normally next day so i check my email and i see the delivery date is between the 1st and 8th Feb. I've never know such a long delay for an old product. Are Apple having stock/manufacturing issues at the moment? or is the demand for the old style so high they cannot keep up?

It could be that many people decided to go with the last non-retina model to save some money after seeing the price of the retina versions.
Here in Canada, many of the big-box stores were discounting the Air just before and after Christmas.
