Hello,

I've got a Hard Drive from my old MacBook Pro, with macOS and bootcamp with Windows on it. It's now in an external case with USB-C, which I'm connecting to my new MacBook Pro. And I want to boot to Windows when that HDD is connected.

But I can't. When holding ALT at startup, all I can see is:

- internal macOS
- external macOS
- recovery drive

Is there any way to "activate" the external Bootcamp partition and launch it ? Checking before I go through the new installation process which is described in other threads here.

I'm able to launch that bootcamp windows when the external drive is connected in VMWare. I would imagine there should be a way to "tick a box" to activate it to show up during startup of my MacBook. Or maybe update bootcamp drivers ?
