My old MacBook pro has had battery problems for a while now. It used to die when it still had 95% charge left. Since the status is still indicated as normal and it discharges at a normal rate I assumed this must be software related. But today I erased the complete hard drive and did a clean Mac OS install.
Now it shuts down and won't reboot at 80%. Can this be a software issue? or is the battery just bad?
It is the early 2013 retina MacBook pro and has around 350 load cycles on the battery.
I'm asking because I want to sell it and I am looking for the best option.
Also don't know if I should get it fixed before selling or if I should sell it a little cheaper and just mention it needs repair.
