I've had my first Macbook Pro since I received it as a graduation gift in spring 2007. A few weeks ago it started rocking back and forth when I was using it and I assumed something had just rolled underneath it when I picked it up or something. When I turned the computer over I was pretty amused with what I found :D

Since the computer is long out of warranty I realize that I am SOL on this one, but I thought I'd share anyway. BTW, anyone have a good recommendation for a 3rd party battery? I don't really feel like spending $130 on a battery for a 5+ year old computer. Thanks!

I would never trust or recommend a battery that didn't come from Apple. Also, there are dozens of threads about swollen batteries. It happens.
