Hi, I'm looking to replace the stock HDD with a SSD on a 2009 MBA (A1304). For the life of me, I can't figure out what type of SSD I can use. Some info I've read suggest I can only use a PATA ZIF connector drive, which pretty much limits me to the Runcore series. Other info suggests that is only true for the first gen MBA, and the one I have can be used with any SATAII drive (e.g. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820139286).

Some clarification would be awesome. Thanks

The 2009s use a SATA drive. I don't know if they used a special connector or not, but OWC sells the following drive, so you might compare that. The Runcore drive you linked to is only for the first generation.
